Your journey begins with a six-week classroom-based Foundation Block delivered at one centre in Ibadan.

Foundation Block

The Foundation Block is designed to deepen your understanding of:

Structured in-role development

The shared core curriculum is followed by stream specialisation. You will indicate your preferred stream during the application process, and final allocation will be confirmed after the Foundation Block's core gate in week three, taking your preference, performance and business requirements into account.

After the Foundation Block, you will be placed across CapitalSage businesses according to your confirmed stream and business requirements. Within your assigned business, learning becomes application: you will work on live projects, tackle operational and commercial challenges and contribute directly to business performance through structured in-role development up to month twelve.

CapitalSage Technology (CST)

Businesses: Kolomoni Microfinance Bank, ERCAS, Regius Asset Management, Regius Capital, CreditAssist.

CapitalSage Technology operates across microfinance banking, lending, payment infrastructure, wealth management, investment services and financial advisory. Its businesses serve individuals, entrepreneurs and organisations by providing the financial tools they need to grow.

Within this ecosystem, you could gain exposure to digital finance, investment products, banking operations, customer experience, risk management, credit solutions, payment infrastructure and financial innovation. You will develop a practical understanding of how financial products are built, who they are built for and what it takes to deliver them at scale.

CapitalSage Vantage (CSV)

Businesses: Afrikmoney, Tiki, Chimoney, Vantage Finance, SageBrush Wealth.

CapitalSage Vantage is building financial products for an increasingly connected world. Its businesses focus on cross-border payments, remittances, digital wealth management and modern financial solutions for individuals and businesses across different markets.

With operations and strategic relationships spanning Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE and multiple African markets, graduates gain first-hand experience in fintech innovation, digital product development, international financial services and business growth.

Eligibility requirements

To apply, you must:

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification - a Second Class Upper (2:1) or above is preferred
  • Have completed NYSC before the programme begins
  • Be available for the full twelve-month programme

The selection process

Your journey into SageForge

The selection process is designed to identify potential, capability, learning agility and values alignment. Every stage gives you an opportunity to demonstrate how you think, collaborate and solve meaningful problems.

Online application

Submit your application through the approved recruitment portal. Tell us who you are, provide the required academic and supporting information, indicate your preferred stream and explain why you want to join SageForge.

Aptitude assessment

Complete online aptitude, critical reasoning, analytical and relevant workplace assessments designed to understand how you think and solve problems.

3.

Competency interview

Take part in a structured conversation with members of the HR and leadership team focused on your experience, motivation, learning agility, leadership potential and alignment with CapitalSage values.

4.

Assessment centre

Work through a business case, collaborative exercise and presentation designed to reveal how you analyse information, work with others and approach real business challenges.

5.

Final interview

Meet senior leaders for a final conversation focused on judgement, ambition, role fit and readiness for the programme.

6.

Offer and pre-employment checks

Successful candidates receive a formal offer and onboarding information, subject to the required documentation and pre-employment checks.

Progression at each stage will be based on performance against clearly defined criteria.

Onboarding

The inaugural cohort begins onboarding in November 2026.

Foundation Block

Six weeks of classroom-based, in-person learning at one centre in Ibadan. A shared core curriculum is followed by stream specialisation.

Core gate and stream confirmation

In week three, stream allocation is confirmed using your stated preference, programme performance and business requirements.

Into the business

After the Foundation Block, Associates are placed across CapitalSage businesses and begin contributing to live work, projects and performance priorities.

Structured in-role development

Coaching, feedback, mentorship, professional development and practical assignments continue through month twelve.

Programme completion

At month twelve, top-performing Associates may transition into confirmed substantive entry-level roles across the CapitalSage Group, subject to performance and business requirements.

What is the duration of the SageForge programme?

Twelve months. The programme begins with a six-week classroom-based Foundation Block followed by placement across CapitalSage businesses and structured in-role development through to month twelve.

Is SageForge open to graduates from all disciplines?

Yes. Graduates from all academic disciplines are welcome. What matters most is how you think, learn and contribute.

What academic qualification do I need?
